You never really can be too sure, in my opinion. Even if it is super duper likely, you can't say for sure that it'll come out until its already out. A lot of Wonder Woman fans learned this lesson the hard way pretty recently.

At that point it had been a long time and Zoku would've been a reasonable stopping point if they were to ever stop continuing the adaptation. The situation now is completely different, this season is just fully setting up for what's to come, stopping here would be insane and even by just watching the anime itself you can clearly tell they are not intending to stop at all. This is not a situation where one has literally any reason to be pessimistic. It would be like thinking the anime wouldn't continue after Owari S1 aired. No one thought that and just in the same way, no one should now think that the anime won't continue to adapt Off & Monster Season after this cour. The only question that does remain is WHEN that will be. My guess is 2026 since Shaft is quite busy with other projects throughout this year

2025-03-11 14:12:44 +0000 UTCThe best strategy is to not expect more seasons of the anime. When Off/Mon got a release date I had already assumed we'd never get any more, and it was such a happy surprise. Assume nothing, and be happy if we do get more. Thats my strat atleast.

2025-03-11 04:42:00 +0000 UTCThe "food poisoning" can have a lot of reasoning associated with it, the anime mostly only actively expresses the "manners" thing, but it's also for one implied to have to do with the fact that Suicide-Master really CAN only drink Shinobu's blood, so any other blood could be harmful but even moreso, the high school girl's blood was "poisoned" in the sense that it was filled with bad emotional energy from all the stress and turmoil that had been going on in the club. So the blood was literally poisoned with bad emotions.
