Okay, now that we've been shown Jack's backstory, let me explain a little further how the Fate franchise has given this character its own take. So Assassin Jack the Ripper is NOT the actual serial killer, but an amalgamation of wraiths of children contemporaneous to it. Okay, this story must be taken with a pinch of salt, but according to records of the time, 1880's Whitechapel, London, became a slum so poor that prostitution was rampant. The ghosts of the kids we see this episode are, supposedly, the aborted fetuses prostitutes threw into the f*ing Thames river. THIS is why in this episode Jack talks about "not having been given the chance to be born" or how they "all float down the river Thames". So yeah, this Servant is pretty complex: a girl formed by the amalgamation of hundreds of souls of aborted fetuses of prostitutes from a period in time in which they themselves were being targeted by a serial killer. Also, fun fact, as we've learned from character material from Jack released in Apochrypha's character book and in Fate/Grand Order's interludes, we know that Jack's wish is to literally "climb back into the womb". As in to, literally, slice a woman's belly open and physically climb back in...

6:00 Okay, so the anime doesn't do the best job in making it clear for the audience. The girl Atalante was combing the hair of is actually a young Medea, aka Caster from Stay Night. They were both part of the Argonauts, so it would make sense, but even so with such a brief scene is left pretty vague.
