This episode is full of little references to other stuff. let me note two. The scene where Haruka get hits by the box is a reference to a real life occurrence that happened to the voice actresses Eriko Nakamura and Asami Imai during an internet show. You can watch it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDvD6TDbOho (no spoilers) The movie trailer segment was a big reference to the anime Idolmaster: Xenoglossia, a mecha anime that predates this anime you are watching right now. The producer of the idolmaster game had no clue what The Idolmaster was going to become. (he had no confidence in becoming big and selling cds or doing live shows. boy was he wrong) Sunrise had the complete freedom in creating an anime adaptation of the game. This anime is not needed to be watched. But it would be very cool if you would. Like check an episode or two out. This episode is one of my all time favorites from the entire franchise. it is crazy, i love it. The voice of Ritsuko is in the songs labeled 765PRO ALLSTARS
