Mei was also teased at the end of S1. She actually was teased well before any of the others because she was actually in episodes 11 and 12!

2025-07-30 14:23:04 +0000 UTCIn the manga, meido's backstory was actually cut from the normal chapter releases because the editors thought it was too dark. You notice even here, they make a point to quickly lighten the mood with the "you were just so cute!" Joke. But it did get added to the volume release as a bonus, and I think it's a worth a read because it gets watered down in the anime just a tad here. It's ch 32.5. you can get it on mangadex or wherever. I think hahari's speech hits harder in the manga. I'm not ahead if the story, I'm reading along with it lol. So I don't know the future. But I love how hahari is constantly reassuring meido to do things for herself, and not just be completely committed to her. That and the backstory of meido raises my opinions of her character by a lot. Edit: oh, and the volume has a cute omake where , in trying to follow his order, meido tries to leave the pages of the volume itself lol

And that's not just in terms of visuals, but also in terms of voices... before it only were all of the previously openly shown new GFs singing (four voices), but now Meido is added in there which one can hear out. - 25:43: I mean... Kurumi just like all (?) of the S2 GFs had the appearance teaser at the end of S1.
