The tank does look extremely different when comparing the two versions beyond the gun upgrade. Though it still might be.

2025-01-05 13:21:54 +0000 UTC- 25:15: Whilst it is the Anglerfish Team for the second time... they're in a different tank (I think... it's one of the two new ones, but I am not sure) and all clothed in their competition uniforms instead of their normal school uniforms. - 27:37: There are characters in the OP wearing Oarai uniforms which haven't appeared at all yet (which also confused the heck out of me when I looked it up), so yeah... - With knowing it myself yet (aside of the next episode), I would definitely think that Semi-Finals and Finals will be shown in full.

2025-01-05 12:50:20 +0000 UTCSo first off and most importantly, I probably should have mentioned this earlier so we have time to check, but there is a scene in episode 8 that had to be altered on the US BluRay release since it contains a song that isn't licensed for use in the USA. Unfortunately, the alteration totally ruins the feel and intent of the scene (in my and many fan's opinions). Since I don't want you to be spoiled at all, but I still think watching the original scene intact is the best thing to do, if you let me know where you're watching GuP (or what subtitle group you're using) I can check myself if the scene is altered in that version or not. --- Anywho, back to my regular scheduled comment: Regarding the sport being safe, yeah it's as safe as it can be, but accidents can still happen. Riders have died in cycling due to bike failure at the wrong time, or taking bad falls and just landing the wrong way. In hockey, a team sport in an enclosed ice rink, there have been a few actual deaths on-ice. In 1995, a player died after they fell on the ice and another player accidentally cut open his carotid artery with their skate blade. You can find examples in every sport of death or near-death accidents. Thankfully most sports nowadays have enough safety protocols in place to make them extremely rare. So yeah, accidents can happen anywhere. Just because a sport is safe doesn't mean they're immune to Lady Luck when she's having a bad day. - Regarding the Anzio battle, as Enrique said it was shown in an OVA that aired after the TV series finished. They cut it from the show due to obvious time constraints. And also as Enrique said, you CANNOT watch it before finishing the series since it contains a spoiler for episode 12 of the show. Refer to my watch order post on your Patreon Episode 2, the Anzio battle is OVA 07 in that list.
