Here you notice Izutsumi in the OP and then not in the ED. The episodes were cool as always. Izutsumi growing on me extremely fast with everything about her.

2025-03-04 10:55:49 +0000 UTCIzutsumi is my favorite type of beast folk. Where her animal/beast aspects influence her. Like her ears showcase her emotions. She reacts like a cat when flustered and lashes out with claws. That kind of stuff. You don't see it as often as I would like. Its so often just like a pair of ears and a tail slapped on top of a character for no benefit or reason. Like, her introduction last episode was super important. As Laios said it helped to refocus their attention on saving Falin. That there is some hope since we see Izutsumi behaving in a human way, instead of as a monster. (Also like cats being able to see ghosts as a common superstition)
