Btw, the anime left out the ballot results. SSGIRLS did get 2nd, but the sheer amount of votes between the two bands was...surprising. Instead of those flashes of the 4 "couples," all of the pairs actually had conversations. Mari asks Kaori what the fight was about anyway, and Kaori does a cute "I wonder..." and embraces Mari, and they talk about how the band won't be doing much for a while. Kaori asks if that make Mari lonely, which she goes lightly tsundere about. Kaori holds her close and said that she will remain by her side, which gets a perfect blush out of Mari. Then, the cut that's a real shame is Hajime and Momoka. They are happy about Aki and Shiho. Momoka says she's jealous of them both having someone who care so much. Hajime blushes and looks away. "I....no. You have us. I think my sister is thinking of you from the other side." Momoka says that would be nice, and there is an amazing panel of Hajime REALLY looking at Momoka from the side. I can't say why, but the art gives me real feels. Then they agree to throw a "what to do no" party. Then, and great scene of Himari and Yori being perfect for each other, which ends in Himari asking Yori to wear that butler outfit for their next home date, since she didn't get a photo. 🤭 Yori says she doesn't need one, and Himari offer to wear cos play for Yori. "No. That would be bad in it's own way." 🫣 That's when it goes to Shiho and Aki. ❤️ I can't forgive them leaving out Shiho dragging Aki to dance with her.

2025-01-05 07:26:21 +0000 UTC50:40 I know there's more, and I love seeing Himari and Yori, but I actually would have been good with the show ending with just that tetmxt from Yori. Like, their meeting on the roof for music and googly eyes is just their thing, and it really drove home the "....there's more, in the manga! ;)" feeling. I know I have the manga open right now because ai finished your reaction. I have heard there's LOTS to get out of it. Normally, I would get pissed at animes that ended so ambiguously, but there's so little unsaid about the pink atmosphere that would come to be on that roof, and if Yori was in Himari's grade, they would have met on the roof for all of their remaining years there.

I'd been super hyped and hard a real bad time keeping away from the manga once I heard the anime was coming. Any new yuri that is even decent heals my soul, and Whisper was very genuine and endearing and passionate. I gotta say, though, I remember how "world-ending" drama and emotions can be when you're that age, but I could stop thinking during the episodes that a simple, complex misunderstanding could be approached so dramatically! Himari behaved as though handling Aki and Shiho's relationship was as vital to the world as curing a pandemic or subverting a comet crashing to the Earth. She is so cute and devoted to her friends, but damn, she can get intense about fixing other folks' problems.

2025-01-05 04:27:20 +0000 UTCI know this anime had lots of production issues but the story was still amazing. You should also consider giving the manga a go, the art is really gorgeous. Also the manga goes a lot deeper into Shiho and Aki's relashionship moving forward.
