2024-12-20 20:38:22 +0000 UTCI mean the mention of Rommel and the Blitzkrieg should have been a dead giveaway, as that was WW2. Also tanks were introduced during WW1 by the British, before the start of it, there were no tanks yet.

This show is full of all sorts of historical references to WWII with the tanks and schools involved. It is (and still ongoing) a mechanical labour of love, that resurrected a typhoon/tsunami ravaged port town and turned it into tourist and fan destination. And yes, the schools are built on WWII inspired aircraft carriers, with student families and store operators living aboard.

The remastered audio is a version they released afterwards to ensure all the sounds and mechanical parts of each tread and tank were as faithful as possible! The people who made Girls und Panzer were ABSOLUTE Tank Otakus!! They even had several officials help them and join in on this project!

OVAs 01 to 06 can be done all together after you finish the TV show, as they all take place during the TV show but have little to no impact on the plot. The total runtime of OVA 01 to 06 is 1 hour 13 minutes, BUT that includes 3 minutes of OP/ED for EACH OVA, so if you skip OP/EDs you're under an hour of watch time total, so you could do them all in a single video instead of splitting them all up if you wanted to watch them. Anyways, I posted this on the Episode 1 Youtube video, but figured I'd also post it here for more visibility: I saw someone else post a general watch order below, which had all the main content, but didn't list the OVAs. This is ok to do, but I list it after das FINALE 02 because it came bundled with the das FINALE 02 blu-ray, das FINALE 01 did not have any OVAs attached to it.

So like... competitions in Sensha-do eventually. - 29:04: I can't speak for those people eager to see you react to the entire series, but I suppose time shouldn't be a problem for people wanting you to watch this (albeit... Patreon-exclusive of course also means that the longer it goes, the more one needs to invest). Voice Actors again: - Yukari Akiyama is voiced by Ikumi Nakagami. You may remember her from a BanG Dream series as someone called "Maya Yamato"? - Reizei (I don't think her given name was said yet?) is voiced by Yuka Iguchi. You may remember her the most from BokuYaba as Party Addicted romance crusher Kankan! (Also as a semi-important woman called Makoto from Shumatsu Train who was in the opposition of the 7G movement.) You might know her as Tsukihi Araragi from the Monogatari series you are currently watching as well. - Instructor Ami Chouno is voiced by Hekiru Shiina. On my part, I only see a minor character from Yorukura who she voiced from the anime I have watched with you. - The VAs for the other opposing team members are still a bit hard to name without their names being spoken out.
