There, they would wait for Ragnarok, to fight for Odin in the "Last Battle." Basically. I'm Pagan, but I'm not super knowledgeable with Norse faiths. I do know that valkyries always sound badass.

S1 is a little rough around the edges, but watching the quality and everything improve by the season is one of the joys of this journey. So as a small tidbit. This anime was first produced, on a low budget, and without any idea if it would be greenlit for future seasons. And going forward each season was done that way as well up until S4 and S5 which were announced together. So each season was made with everyone's absolute best poured into it, thinking that it would be the final season. I think that is what makes the show so special, because everyone poured so much passion and love into it, the whole way through.
