2024-09-01 19:00:35 +0000 UTCIdk in how far you've picked up on it, but Nukumizu has a serious problem establishing that people are actually friends with him and consider him to be their friend. He made a big deal out of it with Yanami where he formally asked her if they could be friends when she literally was already considering them friends all along as evidenced by the fact she said "Sorry, I think of you as a friend." as he was asking lol. Then in this episode it's shown twice again, once when the grandma says Lemon has some nice friends, he doesn't think that he would be included in that, and again with Mitsuki where he didn't realise he already considered him a friend. Just a character detail that I feel like people don't really actively pick up on
