Feedback

Hi everyone!

I'd love to get some feedback on my Patreon campaign as a whole. It's been a while since I last asked for your honest opinions about how I'm handling things here.

I've been losing a lot of support since earlier this year, and new patrons are getting rarer than ever. I wonder if there's something people are noticing that I'm unaware of.

I've been thinking about what might be causing this. It could be that I need to improve the quality of my models, or maybe people are just tired of my style. While the latter is hard to control, I'm always striving for the best in my work.

Other possibilities:

I don't know the reason, but if there's anything I could improve in my campaign, I'd love to get some specific feedback and see if I can make changes. I'm super open to constructive criticism, even if I can't always implement every suggestion.

If you're a free user, a former supporter, or an active one, and you'd like to share your thoughts on my Patreon to help me have a better view of my work, I'd love it if you could spare a couple of minutes to write them down here, or in private messages if you feel more comfortable that way.

Things have been pretty stable for the past three years, and it's been great to plan my work schedule in the long term and even take some vacation. If my patron count drops below a certain threshold, though, I may need to remove one character from my monthly release and start working on other projects to complement my income. But I'm hoping this won't be necessary, as I have a lot of fun with all the models I make here.

Long time subscriber and lover of your art style. I miss busts. I really liked that you started to include busts of your models and found that while I liked the full models, I usually paint the busts. I also noticed that while I store the models with the .io site. most of the saved files through the Patreon store are missing/disappeared from my library. I don't use the patreon store but having it as backup incase .io decides to change rules and delete things, since many sites lately like to do just this was comforting.

Ah, you're talking about the shop, right? If it is, you'll notice that older models let you preview them, but newer ones are blurred. That sucks, yes, I totally agree with you, and I hate it too. But Patreon made this change without my consent, and I just can't find a way of letting people actually preview what they're going to purchase. It basically makes my Patreon shop useless. I could add a link to my shop items showcasing these models, but people would have to click on the blurred shop items anyway to get that information. To try to remedy that, I leave my release posts open to everybody here on Patreon, so if you scroll down my posts and you see any character that you like, you'll find a direct link to the shop item in the post. I wish nothing was locked like this, except for the actual .zip files, but apparently it's something not under my control at the moment, unfortunately :(

Hi again, I just want to add that as I am exploring your page that there appears to be some models who's views of what they are, are locked. You have to buy them to see how they look? That is not a business model that entices me to stay, or buy them.
