This is being a long month and I decided to make a new bonus model this time. I've been wanting to make a Jessica 6 model (from the 1976 film Logan's Run) for a long time, since I have a particular interest in sexy characters from before the 80's. I'm really happy to finally have the time to work on it.
I'm aware Jessica 6 isn't for everybody's taste, but I'm also aware there are some fans out there that would appreciate a figure for a character that's never been done before for 3D printing. So this is what I'm planning for my model, as you can see from the images.
I hope to be able to deliver it until the end of this week :)

Sorry for the delay. As I've been saying since the early days of my Patreon, I wish I could add a "classic beauties" category just for this kind of characters, or for those that have some following and never had a decent figure made of them. I earn my living mostly through Patreon these days, though, and I must also try to provide what most people want from me, and I believe popular characters are needed for this. I'm always uneasy when I have to work on a big famous character. I feel like I have little to add to them, so I have a personal preference for less popular models. While I can't create a new category just for them, I do intend to work on bonus models whenever I have the time for that, and these bonus models will always tend to be based on classic beauties and obscure characters, like this one, Jessica 6 :)

I think there is an over-saturation of some subjects starting to develop in the 3D printed fan art kit hobby. How many more Harley Quinns, She Hulks, Supergirls, Batgirls, Catwomans, Lara Crofts, Black Widows, Red Sonja, Psylockes, etc. need to be newly rendered. There are some exceptions, but most recent popular subjects are pretty much covered by now. Polls are OK, but I think the age demographics of the voters tends to skew the results most of the time. There is a HUGE number of memorable female pop-culture subjects and those featured in movies and TV shows from past decades that would make great fan art kits. Maybe consider making it a point to go "old school" every other month or so. It could make you stand out from the rest of the ever growing list of digital artist. I just think that there's a wealth of great subject matter from the past being neglected by this hobby.
