I think Princess Daphne's style is extremely appealing, and she's one of my favorites as well, but I wasn't expecting her to win this poll at all! When I posted this image on Deviantart, the only comment I got was "Does anyone really care for Princess Daphne though?" Regarding Dragon's Lair gameplay, from the Youtube video I saw, it seemed like you simply had to press the right direction buttons in the right time. Was this really all one had to do to progress the game? It's really packed with action, though, so being able to make the story move without errors must be quite thrilling.

2023-12-19 18:07:18 +0000 UTCWas thrilled to see her win the vote, and see how well the model turn out. And later find out that actually quite a lot of others liked her too. While the games might be obscure by todays' standards, they introduced new gameplay style for its time, and production values for graphics are stunning, even if you consider it an animated movie instead of "just an arcade game". Gameplay hasn't aged well (and wasn't very good to begin with), but the animation definitely has. Also, perhaps some voted because she wasn't "yet another princess daisy / zelda / insert another nintendo princess", but a character, that hasn't been widely sculpted this far.
