October Short Story Reward - A Galactic Nomad 2

Alright, it's pretty late in the month for this, but there are reasons for that. Unfortunately, said reasons are a bit spoilery, so I won't go into them. Suffice it to say that it was a combination of a later start and a bit of an unexpected mental block on writing a specific scene :-p. Either way, I've finished up the next installment of The Galactic Nomad, though the editing might be a touch rougher than usual. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to give it another pass (I usually give stories two run throughs), since I badly need to get started on the programming/writing aspects of Haven's Port. Which is also why, sadly, the attached image of Saryia is also still very rough. I wasn't able to pry the time away from rendering to truly finish it up, though I did clean up the flats and give it at least some basic shading. I'm intending to keep improving on it as this particular story gets updated.

Anyway, as for the story installment itself, The Galactic Nomad - Corporate Entanglements, comes in at around 4,750 words. So just a tiny touch shy of my normal 5,000 word target, but not really a significant amount so. As usual, it's attached as a PDF. I hope you enjoy it!

P.S. I've decided, as these aren't one continuous story in quite the same way as some of my other original works, that I'll put each one in a new PDF. For easy use, I'm attaching the original PDF for part 1 as well.
