Chastity Quest - Progress Report

So, good news is that I've actually finished 6 scenes for Build 8. The extra, beyond the 5 I mentioned in the last progress report, was just that, an extra. Which, since I've also upped my plan from 10 to 11 scenes needed for the build, will mean that there will be a total of 12 new scenes in the build. Of those scenes, at least 6 of them will be medium-to-long length, as well. So, it total content, this build ought to be around the size of Build 7, which consisted mostly of shorter scenes out of necessity.

The less good news is that I'm a day behind where I'd hoped to be. This was caused by two things combining. First, was that there were a LOT more connecting bits needed between the new quest scenes than I'd originally thought. Pure oversight on my part not to anticipate that the fairly complex plan I had was going to cause some extra work on the programming/writing end.

The second issue was a flare-up of the thankfully-well-managed migraine issues I've had for over a decade. Those of you who've been around long enough might recall one or two other such flare-ups...but I think there's only been two (now three) that caused a delay of any kind in the entire 3 years of the Patreon running. It's not something that normally intrudes on work. Hell, I've had more time lost to a couple of bouts of flu than I have to this.

Unfortunately, on the very very rare occasions the issue pops up, it usually costs me a full day of work due to the meds and other treatment I need to get it back under control quickly being a bit rough on the system overall. I'm mostly feeling better and should be okay to pick back up again tomorrow without issues. Thankfully, the remaining 6 scenes are actually the easier set on both the asset acquisition and programing fronts, so I'm still fairly sure that the latest the release will be (barring another issue) is the 4th. And it possibly may still be the third, though that's a bit less likely now.
