Alright! I apologize for it being longer than usual between progress reports. Unfortunately, a few minor regular-life disasters reared their heads in the last several days, resulting in me losing some development time, as well as being too busy running around trying to fix them to put up a progress report. The good news is that, despite the additional delays, I'm just about done with the 8th scene. That's...not as far as I had hoped to be, obviously. But it's still progress. I'll also be beginning the programming/writing portion later today (I had hoped to start last night, but it wasn't to be). I'm expecting that to take at least 3 days, if you include the need for editing, so the current ETA for the Build is roughly the 19th. Possibly the 20th if more issues crop up.
I'm....irked about that. As I had hoped to get things reigned in this month, particularly in light of the extra time I'm going to have to put in on Chastity Quest. While some of the delays were things beyond my control...others are part of a reality I'm afraid I'm going to have to deal with. The simple truth is that I think I'm going to have to take a hard look at my priorities, possibly even putting a few things to vote, as I seem to have bitten off a bit more than I could chew trying to make largish updates to two time-consuming games. Rest assured that any decisions will be in the vein of adjusting how much content each build gets, possibly re-distributed by total development time rather than scene count, rather than there being any talk of pausing or discontinuing either game.
One of the ideas I may float, for example, is to strictly limit the development time to 15 day chunks, with builds simply being the best possible amount for each game that I can manage inside the allotted chunk. Conversely, I could put more focus on one game than the other, or any number of other such adjustments. I will not, of course, decide any of this without listening to my patrons, as this effects you guys as much as me. It's simply that I'm running into limits on time and resources that can't be pushed through by mere determination.
