Progress Report (Haven's Port + Short Story)

First, the new short story. Since it's a new story entirely this time, I needed a few days to get my thoughts in order on it. I had plenty of ideas jotted down, but I needed to sort out which one would be the best fit to introduce the setting and main character. I want this one to feel properly like sci-fi, so I agonized a bit over the right idea to open the series up with. Thankfully, I've got that sorted...and managed to get the first thousand words or so down yesterday. I'll be working more on it tonight, but don't have a definite timetable just yet. Lilkly sometime around the 10th, if I had to guess.
Second, Haven's Port! As you can see from the renders above, I've improved on the initial test render of the Pet Shop, as well as nailed down the majority of the images for the actual shop itself. Though the cat girl needs a few tiny adjustments I can do post-render. I have one more scene to do in the actual shop (there are already two more than you see here), and then I can begin hammering out the actual scenes. I...kinda of failed to account for how many renders I'd need in the actual shop itself, during my planning of scenes for the month. But I don't yet know how that will effect the planned content. I'll let you know when I've got that figured out...regardless, though, I'm quite happy with the way the renders I've finished have come out! Not to mention I really like what I have planned for the cat girl picture above ;-)...
