Haven's Port Focus Poll - September

Don't forget about/miss the other poll, regarding September's Short Story!

Okay, that's reminder aside, as I've mentioned before, the nature of Haven's Port means that polls are usually going to be unique each month. They will always allow patrons to make major choices about what gets developed next, but it needs to be within the scope of logic for the next thing set of things to work on. In example, there's no way I could jump straight into another Reputation Tier Up next month, with so much undone on the first two tiers. So it will likely be a few months before that shows up again as a focus option.

As it happens, this month's poll is actually pretty straight forward! And fairly significant about what sort of content get's added next, too! Specifically, now that there is another Reputation Level, a new set of Jobs has always been intended to be a part of that. Not just advancements or new options for old jobs, but next jobs entirely. As such, while a  portion of Build 4 is going to simply be continuing to add in more scenes for existing jobs (as well as probably a town event or two), there's also going to an entire new job added, one specific to the Resident Tier. To that end, there are two possible new locations/jobs that could be focused on. And it's up to you guys and gals to decide which one gets added in September! Don't be too upset if you don't win, since both will be added in time, but the loser may have to wait a couple of months :-). Now, for a brief summary of each location/job!

The Pet Shop

I'm sure some of you have noticed that there are catgirls and ponygirls already mixed into the general populace of Haven's Port ;-). That was foreshadowing on my part, knowing that this was always a job/shop/location that I wanted to have in the early game! Essentially, this shop will allow TWO types of encounters.

1) The Shop will allow you to temporarily become a Ponygirl or Catgirl to do various jobs. A Catgirl might be rented out to 'play,' or a ponygirl might be either rented out OR participate in races. Those sorts of jobs/opportunities

2) The Shop will allow to Rent a Pet. It will likely start with a catgirl pet, since they are easier to create content for, but might be expanded to include other pet types. Essentially, you will be able to rent pets of your own to play with or train. Possibly even becoming a trainer for the shop if you prove good at it!

The Wave Mistress/Pirate Job

As the name implies, this job is the expansion of The Wave Mistress content to include jobs that you can work for Captain Temlin. As only an unproven Resident, those jobs will be things like being a Cabin Girl or Ship's Entertainment...but it will be a way to both get to know the Captain, as well as getting your foot in the door with one of the Major Factions of Haven's Port. This set of jobs, specifically, will be one that will continued to expand with more Reputation levels. Also, as might be obvious from the one sex scene with the good captain in it so far...this one will introduce some Bondage Play with the game. Even moreso than the Pet Shop would/will.
