September Short Story Poll

Alright everyone. I know I probably should have put both of the monthly polls up a week or so ago but I didn't for a couple of reasons. One was simply that I was overwhelmed by Haven's Port. The other, more directly related to this poll, was that I was debating what to do about The Elven Maid. While I'm not going to discontinue the story (that was never a possibility), the fact that it had an actual honest-to-goodness plot is now biting me in the ass. It's been so long since I did anything with it that I no longer remember all the overarching plot point...and while I took decent notes, those notes are scattered between several files and a physical notebook or two that I'm no longer completely certain of the location of.  Net result? I'm going to have to spend some serious time, at some point, reconstruction what I had intended to do with that story. Ultimately, that led me to the conclusion that it needed to removed (for the time being) from the voting options. Which, of course, meant I also wanted to replace it with something new. And thus...something new!

New Idea - The Interstellar Hitchhiker

Note: Name not final, I don't like the hitchhiker bit. Just need to come up with a better word.

In the year 4271, the Milky Way Galaxy has long been mapped and settled. Some portions are still far more lawless or unpopulated than others, particularly near the borders of a few of the less friendly alien empires, but for the most part it's not hard to travel from the far end of one galactic arm to the depts of another entirely...if you have your own ship or a lot of money. 

Saryia doesn't have either of those things.

On the other hand, what she does have is a smoking hot body, solid technical skills, an adventurous spirit, and a willingness to use the first two in any way she can that will please the third. Seducing ship crews, salvaging and selling tech, working a few weeks at a brothel or experimental lab, whatever is needed to move onto the next planet, space station, or other intresting place....

Notes: Must like the Dungeon of Lewdity or Transforamtion Estate stories are for fantasy, this story will/would be to Scifi. A serial story allowing me to explore all the sexy things advanced technology and aliens could get up to. Which might vary anywhere from nanotech spacesuits vulnerable to remote hacking, to alien tentacle monsters with posh accidents and very polite sex parties....
 

Fanfiction: Mass Effect: The Final Error:  Whew! Things have well and truly run off-rails the rails from cannon. In addition to all the things that happened before...now Benezia is in the wind somewhere, the council is about to get definitive proof of the Reaper threat years early, the Rachni Queen is playing diplomat and Shepard is building her own power base and network with Oriana's help. Plus, of course...Oriana has set her sights on a certain blushing blue maiden...

In the next installment, we'll see Oriana beginning to teach Liara about sex and sexuality, as well as seeing her continue to get to know Shepard. Meanwhile, Saren has been busy and is about to strike out at another beacon, and Nihlus and Garrus will end up in over their heads and needing to call for help when they run into Benezia elsewhere...

The Transformation Estate: With two days of vacation left, Tess wants to teach some magic...which could have fun consequences...

Of course, along the way, our two main characters are going to get up to a lot of sexy adventures...
