DoL Progress Report

Voting in the rather important All Patrons Poll to determine what the future development efforts of my patreon will looks like is almost over. Second, the actual progress report itself! I finished up the 2nd room for Build 9 yesterday and I'm happy to say that it's a fairly good-sized puzzle room! It's Android themed...and no, not all of the imagery is from Nier:Automata. Since it's a theme room, not a parody room, it also includes art from Ghost in the Shell, Mass Effect, and other IPs. I'm going to spend a couple more hours before I crash for today doing image search for the third room, which I'll start actually programming tomorrow. So far, I'm roughly on schedule, despite still helping out with my mother's injuries. Hopefully, I can keep it that way :-).

P.S. The sci-fi reference on that piece of art actually reminded me of an old writer buddy of mine that writes sci-fi. I was surprised when I popped in at his blog just for grins (he stopped writing some time back, which was super disappointing as he had a rather unique way of storytelling) and was surprised to see he's writing again. If you ARE a sci-fi or fantasy fan, I'd highly recommend stopping by his blog to read a couple of his shorts (and maybe buy his novel on Amazon, it's a little rough in some ways, but one of the single most unique sci-fi works I've ever read). I normally don't shill random products on my patreon...but I really want him to keep writing :-p. His blog (with a number of free shorts you can find by tag) is: The Discordant Dreams of Electric Sheep. I think the sci-fi buffs out there will see why the one title reminded me of the other ^_^.
