Rikka Art! (Cosplay Cafe)
Added 2019-10-28 05:36:29 +0000 UTCOkay, so...despite all the other things draining my time, I've gotten at least a couple of pieces of art done! These will probably be it for this month, since I also still need to do the short story reward. And, of course, I'm still dealing with those drains on my time, including all the time I'm spending over at my parents helping to care for my mother (she's doing better! But...she's going to be 3+ months fully recovering. The broken foot that needed surgical reconstruction will take that long to heal).
On the bright side, I think I've gotten a bit better of a handle on the problems I was having with Rikka's art. Her skin tone wasn't the most exotic I've ever done (I've drawn both dryads and succubi with green and red skin respectively), it was causing me some serious issue on shading. The results were...kinda blah, as a result. I did a fair bit of tweaking to these images in an attempt to fix that. And I think the end result is a major step up from the previous couple. Thankfully, it's also something I can retroactively apply to the other images I've gotten done.
Anyway. the next thing I need to work on is the previously mentioned Story Reward. Given the voting this time was kinda...nonexistent (my fault, I think, since I ran the poll at an awkward time), I decided to go ahead and update a story I haven't touched in awhile. The Transformation Estate's (which did tie in the poll, such as the voting was) current story-location actually seems to fit Halloween fairly well, so...that's what's getting updated!
Other than that, I'm going to be putting together the first in the series of polls about the future of the Patreon soon, now that all three of the new game proposals are out. So keep an eye out for those, as well!
