Arg. I totally know what I'm doing with some of funding you guys are kindly providing me :-). I've been using a seriously archaic version of photoshop for coloring and it's always been a bit...prickly...with Windows 10. Unfortunately, some recent updates to the Win10 OS has caused that problem to amplify badly. The stupid thing kept freezing for 5-10 seconds at a time mid-brushstroke. I was about ready to strangle something when I finally got mostly done with this. Next patreon payout, I can finally look into getting a modern version...or possibly something else, I've had a couple of pieces of coloring software recommended to me.

And...it's only mostly done. In addition to some minor cleanup and tweaking that I normally do as post-processing, I also want to experiment with a better 'wet' effect than the crap I was using before. My previous attempts were...fairly bad, to be honest. I'll probably do that only after I get the next piece started though, since I'm going to have to see if I can hunt down some tutorials that are compatible with the way I do shading. I also think I'm going to need to add a tiny bit of background to this particular piece. A bench or bed or something maybe. I'll need to drop it on top of an existing background to see if the odd floating effect is as bad there as it is on the flat gray background I use for color balancing. I don't like adding extras to the image if I don't have to, since it limits the reusability of the image a bit, but I think I might need it with this one.

Still, all things considered I'm fairly happy with this one, incomplete as it currently is.
