Main Character(Sexy Cosplay Cafe) & Dev Corner

So, this is the other piece I mentioned I had finished (I actually crashed super early yesterday, so posting it got pushed out to today). I've had this one maybe 50% done for a while, but wasn't sure if I should finish it, due to the pose being one that isn't perfectly suited to a 'talking' pose like I've made for the other characters.

In the end, I decided it would do, mostly on account of the fact that the MC will only rarely be seen on-screen (at least from a talking perspective, certain parts of him will obviously be on screen during sex ^_^). This pose suits the one or two uses for his 'casual' attire that I already know I need, so I decided it would do for his current casual pose. It's not like I'm not intending to add more casual poses for all of them later anyway.

Dev Corner

So...Alice might actually be a bit of a problem as currently written, something I didn't realize until just a couple of weeks ago. Eros Academy never contained even the slightest hint of incest content, and as such I was among the lucky few adult game creators that was utterly and completely unaffected by Patreon's rule changes regarding that sort of thing. It also, unfortunately, means I was ignorant of just how utterly ridiculous some of those changes were.

Specifically, I was unaware that their new 'no-incest' policy included step-siblings with no blood relation. Which is frankly fairly absurd. I can sort of see the logic behind it, in that they were probably attempting to prevent people from simply editing the word 'step' in front of every sibling without addressing the actual look and feel of their games/stories/whatever. It's still rather draconian, though.

It also presents a slight but hardly unfixable problem, since Alice was supposed to be the MC's step-sister. Since the game hasn't released even the first demo yet, I can still fix it from ground up, but I'm struggling to figure out what I want to do. I could simply modify the story to say that Alice is a family friend, or even the older best friend of the MC, but I honestly feel that the story will lose something if I handle it that way. I could also introduce the patch-fix solution that other games are using, introducing off-site patches that will 'return the game to it's original state.' But that is, frankly, a bit of an extreme reaction given that I was never really intending on focusing heavily on the sister-element of the story in the first place. Alice and the MC didn't grow up as siblings and don't really look at each other that way for the most part. Hell, as currently written, they've only known each other for 2-3 years, and much of that was at a distance. 

Ultimately, I'll likely have to dig into the text of Patreon's rules and see what the minimum change I can make is. If, for example, I can simply make it so that the MC's parent is simply dating Alice's mom/dad, and has been for a year or two... Well, that should keep the original feel of the story background and intro intact, while still complying with the no-step-siblings thing.
