Rikka (SuperHeroine) - The Sexy Cosplay Cafe

Whew. So, I've been working on this for half of forever it seems like. Partly, that's because it's a rare case of be not using a reference pose at all, which is not normal for me. Despite how far I've come in the last few months, I'm still not really an 'artist' type, and usually need a reference pose in order to create an image with any sort of speed at all. Obviously, I can manage decently without it, but this took much longer than normal without one. 

As to why I didn't use one...I think I mentioned before that I've been having trouble finding reference poses that were just...standing around. Action poses, or pinups, or something like that are easy to find. But poses I can use as the basic 'talking poses' for the various girls are a bit harder to come by. In this case, I couldn't find one of the both the right body type and implying the right personality. So I eventually ended up just doing without...which involved wiping the whole thing out in frustration more than once.

Anyway, I'm reasonably happy with result. On looking at it in the Patreon image, I'm thinking I might need to go back and play with the lighting some more. Her left hand and legs aren't blended very well. But it's at least usable as is...

Anyway, I have three more of these fairly boring images to get through (one each for the 5 characters I'm planning to focus on at first). After that, you'll hopefully start getting peeks of some more...'interesting' poses and states of dress ;-). 

A Note for All Patrons:

First, I've delayed listing the game on the various sites and such until I could see if there were going to be a deluge of bugs. As there doesn't seem to have been, I'll likely rebuild it and post it by the end-of-day on the 1st. I MIGHT have time and energy to fix the whole Naomi-breaking-up-with-you-if-you-abuse-her thing, but I'm not sure yet HOW to fix my screwup in how I designed it. So not gurentes. Not that I expect it's really a major thing for any of you.

Second, once the new bug-fixed build of Eros is up, expect to see some piecemeal alterations to the main Patreon page and rewards start appearing in the next week or two. I'll be altering them to take into account the focus on the new game and Eros Academy's update structure changing. I want to get two or three more pieces of art done before I make the big 'announcement' of it being the main focus, as far as the default page goes. But now that I'm focusing on it, that art should be coming faster. Once I have 'default' images for the four girls (and possible a single location), I'll be altering the main page to give an overview of the new game.

I haven't 100% locked in how the new rewards will work, what will go where, but I'm aiming to make it so that no patron currently supporting me will feel like they are getting less bang for their buck. The goal is to make it so that current patrons are getting at least as much, hopefully MORE, rewards.  

A Note for $5+ Patrons:

Jaylee and I have a couple thousand words of the short story you voted for done, and two more writing sessions planned for tonight and tomorrow night. We're hoping to wrap up the writing by tomorrow night ending, but can't guarantee it. Even it we do, it will likely be a day longer than that for editing. Expect the short story to be on the 1st or 2nd, most probably. The 3rd should be the absolute latest, barring some sort of disaster on one of our ends.

I'm sorry it's not on time :(, but in this case it was me actively choosing to power through the main game update first and foremost. That chewed up all my time/focus completely, and caused the delay in the short story reward. I can't quite regret it, since it let me get Eros Academy 2.0 out without anymore delays, but I do apologize for it. Sorry!
