Art Update

So, this if my very first attempt at doing color. I took one of the concept art pieces and essentially used it as-was, as mostly a throw-away effort to get a handle on the coloring process. This is the result. There are clearly some problems, the most obvious of which (purely with the color mind) is the shadows being a bit heavy-handed(most obvious on the face), and the overall color choices being a bit too dark.

On the other hand, this is literally the first time I've attempted to color something, digitally or otherwise, since middle school (which was rather a long time ago, since I recently turned 32). In light of that, I can say that I'm actually quite pleased with the result.

Other Stuff:

Eros Academy 2.0 update - Frustratingly, I hit my first major stumbling block for this update (not including the whole getting sick with the flu thing, which is less a hitch in the update and more just Life Happens). I was working on the single shortest scene in the entire update (7 renders)...and discovered to my chagrin that something in the scene is causing the renders to take a horrifically awfully amount of render time. Worse, they are also occasionally crashing mid-render. The net result is that progress on the scenes has slowed to a crawl, costing me at least 3-4 days overall. The scene will be done by the end of the month...but I had intended to have TWO more scenes done my the end of the month, not one. Hopefully, I'll be able to make up the time on the remaining scenes, or on the writing/programming elements, but if I can't my tentative release date might end up slipping -_-. Not a ton, mind you, unless something else goes wrong, but it might slip a little bit.

Short Story Reward - Jaylee and I are getting together shortly to try and hash more of it out, and we've got time set aside tomorrow as well. Since we already have some of it, those two sessions should let us wrap it up. Then maybe a day or two for edits. So there shouldn't be any delay this time. It's not out early, which we had hoped to be the case, but at least it's not going to be late!
