June Map Poll!

It's a new month, so a new map poll is up! You may have noticed you've been added to the community discord! that's where you guys will be able to communicate with me directly and add new options to the map poll going forward! I'll be using the discord to post when I've dropped a new Lore Reimagined, Glassway update, Ida's Guide stuff, and of course new maps!  I'm excited, and admittedly a bit nervous to open up such a direct line to everyone, please be gentle with me. If you're not interested please feel free to hop out, no one is under any obligation to stick around.

Ida's Guide Update!
The Work continues on the book steadily. Right now I'm digging into finer (less entertaining to write) details like balancing stat blocks and making sure all the encounters won't be overwhelming for the levels they take place at.

One of the challenges set forth for myself in the book is there is a portion of the adventure that is less direct, offering the players three distinct paths of quests and information gathering that they can approach at their own pace. taking bites out of the mystery of the ghost of Professor Rook, who set them on the adventure and got them stuck in Darkul's Game. Attempting to actually play the game earnestly and discover what they can about Drakul Himself. And lastly finding the mysterious Luvo Coven, the witches who are organizing and maintaining the game.

Each path leads to information critical to the survival of our heroes, and it is by combining these disparate parts that the conclusion to the story can be reached! But obviously, this has made leveling and pacing a challenge. One I'm still working out haha.

Each of these three quests are sent off from one of the only places in the setting where the players can find some civilization and peace, the Crowcover Inn. So for this update, I wanted to show off a peek at some of the magnificent art of crowcover done by one of the artists on the project @D_letion

Crowcover Inn
Crowcover is a large cozy establishment built on a crossroads at the center of the region the adventure takes place making revisiting and resting there very easy. at first, it might be off to the adventurer from a traditional fantasy setting, unlike Crudilex. Its vast roof echos the pattering rain and is filled with soft music playing from a gramophone. Its owner is Cornwall "Braf" Brafen. wears denim trousers and a leather vest with a red scarf, more a man belonging in the wild west than wielding a blade to face a dragon. This is the first hint to our heroes that the World Beyond their own that they have arrived in is closer to a turn of the century setting.
