Juiced Roadmap

As promised earlier, here is the roadmap for the animation. I mainly want to keep you all informed of how things are progressing with the animation and what sort of hurdles lay ahead before everything is done.

-Firstly, so far I have about 15 minutes of footage rendered out for the animation, which includes two major growth scenes, as well as a handful of smaller ones. I would estimate that about 12 minutes of this footage will make it into the final cut. Most of this footage takes place in act one, which is everything leading up to and including the bodybuilding show that was teased in the trailer. I am currently working on act two which may end up doubling the overall length of the animation depending on how in depth some of the scenes end up being.


-Things that need to still be done and will definitely be in the final animation:

--Two more major growth scenes (one is going to be about 2 minutes and the other about a minute)

--A handful of smaller growth scenes (totaling about 2 minutes altogether)

--World building scenes for act two that delve deeper into the more shadowy themes of the story (it is meant to be a sort of grimy cyberpunk-ish setting)

--Dialogue. I have a general script for the scenes with dialogue though I do still need to experiment with lip syncing the audio to the animation. I have found a couple potential solutions for this and will keep everyone posted on the results of this. Besides this, the animation will feature a sort of narration from the perspective of the main character.

--Sound design. Growth should sound like growth in my opinion, so I will be adding sound to make the animation as immersive as I can. I already have a library of sounds and can design and record some foley as needed to fill in the gaps.

--Names. There are a few characters in the animation and they will need names, so I may post a poll of potentials for each character and you all can help me pick if that is something you all would be interested in!


-Things that I would like to include if I can manage to do them:

--More growth/muscle is always a plus

--More background characters that can help add depth to the story. This includes crowds of people for the show, or maybe a large group in a club etc. Layering groups of people with a central character with how this all gets animated can be a bit difficult (though not impossible with some elbow grease!)

--Potentially a custom soundtrack

--Better graphics for the title screen (not the most important thing, but it would be nice to be able to have a semi professional appearance to it.
