But the story wont be interesting anymore if he didnt react this way to Sakura as who she is now. As far as the story goes, empathy is needed for soft moments but we need some letdowns or high/sharp moments as well. The characters will them appear to be more realistic, ideal and have their own strong characters development. Readers will be more drawn in.
