This episode informs the last season. It shows how unsure she is about sharing a supernatural thing with her friends for fear of being called crazy, even if she is right. Last time she opened up, she got medicated. And we also know how much she looks up to Chloe. So she solves her problems the way Chloe does. Gather the facts. ANd she respects people privacy. (Remember how she treated Cain after Chloe told him his "brother died"? She wants her friends to open up to her, she doesnt want to force it out. ) Good thing to keep in mind. Many people dont like how she acted in later seasons. But this episode informs us (along with all we know about her) so her story makes more sense going forward. A good episode to keep in the back of your mind...

A concerted social media effort with millions of posts #savelucifer took off in a big way! Netflix and Amazon were both interested due to the obvious popularity of the show. Netflix seasons changed the feel of the Series and allowed the scriptwriters (free from the constraints of the network TV show) to write the story they always wanted to, keeping the format also as this was what had made the show popular.
