With the timeline we were given in the pilot episode, he had been on earth for 5 years before he and Chloe officially met. It's an interesting tidbit to know that she hadn't yet made detective back then and was working on it. By Season 3, Amenadiel has become my favorite character of the entire series.

2024-11-23 15:40:07 +0000 UTCnot quite. i dont know if you watched the whole show or not but it gets "kind of " explained in later seasons narratively, its just feels weird that Amenadiel would make a deal with the devil and then randomly decide to try and get Lucifer killed later on (however long the time period between this episode and season 1 pilot is)

2024-11-22 20:08:20 +0000 UTCThis was another of my favourite episodes this season. We leave the Sinnerman story now we know Pierce is Cain and the Sinnerman and side step into a backstory. I believe episode 10 was seen by FoxTV ( who messed around with the schedules for Lucifer often) to be a mid season finale with that reveal, and when the second part of season 3 continued, this flash back episode was put in first before we return to the main Cain/Sinnerman plot. Either way I loved it and it seems unknown to both Luci and Chloe but right at the beginning not only could he sense her presence but his interference in the case might have actually helped her become a detective... that's so good!
