If he had a "give 0 fucks" mentality then it would be over for everyone. ESPECIALLY if it was Wally West's version of the flash from the comics who is more OP than Barry Allen ever was.

Cat is a great mentor character! As far as who is faster: Barry! In the comics right before he died by running too fast he admitted to Superman that the reason Superman always won their races was because Barry never raced him at full speed.
