This week’s chapters involve chakra training. It’s a little unfortunate that all these chapters landed on the same release week. I guess we’ll see if I made them interesting enough to stand on their own. Like previous weeks, these are raw. I’ve not even reread them, so there are probably more mistakes than normal.
Writing is still going well although I didn’t get as much written as I did last week. Still, I’m completely back in the zone which is great.
I talked with Travis a bit this week about 2026. My plan is to release four audiobooks starting next year instead of the normal two. That will only work if I can consistently get the story out of my head in a timely fashion.
If I can’t, then I’ll use those extra two slots for Cevin’s Sword and something else. Hopefully though, I’ll have two books worth of Ash’s story that Travis can narrate. I know that would make everyone here very happy.
I opened chapters 7, 8, and 9 for Root.
I opened chapters 10, 11, and 12 for Harvester.
I added chapters 13, 14, 15, and 16 for Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, Divine, and Axiom.

Doesn’t sound like this message indicates burnout to me, on the contrary it feels positive and optimistic about the future. These were pretty great chapters dropped for us this week, thanks for sharing them AFK.

2025-03-24 01:54:15 +0000 UTCRealistically, what works for me is is a happy author. Do what makes you happy, man. California is unforgiving with the cost of living. Some authors I follow on here do three chapters a week, some crazy bastards do five. No matter the type of work, we all can suffer from burn out and the longer someone fights against it. The longer it takes to reset.
