I've realized one of the reasons I'm moving so slowly is that I need to make a decision immediately in book 12 about its direction. This, combined with the desire to wrap this arc up in a couple of books, has shown the need for a comprehensive list of promises you believe I've made to you throughout this series.
So, specifically, I'd like you to either Direct Message me or comment below on what you think I still need to address before I finish this arc. Just so you know, I consider this arc to be returning the Spirit to the Universe (the Fourth Secret).
My intent is to start another series that addresses the issues in the Outerverse. I did this exercise (what promises had I made) with my youngest daughter and BRB a while ago but I can't find it. I remember there being like a hundred more things than I thought.
Anyway, now is your chance to make sure I don't forget your favorite dangling thread.

Quick question - do we know what he spent the 95 level tokens on from Book 11? Also will we get to see a comeback of our savage seven? What about Sifts long awaited holiday?

Ever since I realized I don’t know his name I’ve been dying to figure it out. 2) I would LOVE to see the two of them go back to the step competition and win it for real. It was one of my favorite parts of the whole storyline. Also I haven’t read book 11 yet nor am I reading other comments so as to avoid spoilers so apologies if any of these have already been in the book or commented.

2025-02-14 00:26:36 +0000 UTCAs for promises, I'm a big-picture, big arc person. 1) Rwuen/Ruin (R²?) has to master the creation realm and do something impossible there. (Akin to using Harmony in the destruction realm.) 2) it seems to me the plan is stronger and offers more storytelling promise if R² is able to make a pathway for anyone ready to exit Aeronial's pocket universe instead just ascending with his friends and his mind creations. That way, a favorite character from say, book 1, could eventually resurface in the second series. I think if you permanently close the door between the two universes, as a writer, anxiety over lose ends might be crippling.

Ruwen's fear of the narrator's and the universe in his mind? He's always freaked out about it and it feels like he really would destroy he mind world if he knew it wouldn't break Harmony. Overlord seriously though Ruin would kill he's own mental minions if he knew they exited. He calls on Narrators when useful, but dose not alow any new Narrator's to form. The Affinity wheel book could have been an interesting and helpful Narator. If Nameless was the only Narrator that was a problem form ten's of thousands Ruwen's stance is a bit extreme. I doubt he'll figure this out on his own maybe after he can use the pisonic power an a visit to Aeonrial's mind? The restoration of Uru: With the foundation book and architect role quest Ruwen can share that only leaves Uru's soul still damaged from the attack from the 6 god's can it be healed like Ruwen's? On that note an apology form Io for not just watching but helping Uru dig out three of her meridian pathways while knowing multiple ways to reattach them. The sacrifice to get creation session in Ruwen might have been necessary if Io could see that far ahead but it still reflex really poorly on Io. Sift's ability to sift Arua to level his soul. When this was brought up first we didn't know there were completely separate magic systems. How dose this interaction work? How OP will Miranda be when she makes it out of Pen realm, how many of the magic will she have unlocked? If the team helps Echo to reach the divine tier will they show her how to merge with the aspect like Ruwen and Sift did? It's been awhile since Ruwen approved any alchemy levels was it just Ruwen camp that left after Lalquinrial attacked? What is the Dark priest objective report the existence of the universe? Will Zylkin after escaping the Zealot leave the Dark priest alive if he knows there working for different Emperors? The creation of Ruwen's divine realm Can Ruwen use luck from fates balance to create endless fortune's luck potions? If he gives out hundreds of luck though alchemy dose that circumvent the system ire? What dose Hamma and Lylan's new classes look like in action plus what are the new classes Ruwen added and are these new classes offered to the new people from the two dead gods? Re-read the series recently and notice three things: How dose the universal key work with luck. When it was explained adding golem cards to the sword removed the luck the golem provides for the user is that only for the fortune type? Also should Sift not have close to three hundred years time baggage? Ruwen and Sift spend the same amout of time in Miranda divine realm? How is Echo fighting at the bottom of the destruction realm, is the death aspect providing protection like the rings Ruin got from Vathom?

Thank you for bringing this story to life! Regarding *Promises Made*, I feel that most loose ends have been addressed, but there is one major issue I hope will be explained or explored further in the next book. From the very beginning, the series emphasized that Ruwen being an Axiom was something rare and special. This notion was central to the idea that he had the potential to save the universe. However, after ten books, the revelation that this isn’t actually special feels somewhat contradictory—especially considering that the Darkness originally emerged because this universe gave birth to the first Axiom, (Pen). This shift left me feeling a bit lost, and I even went back to reread the series, thinking I had missed something. I’d love to understand the reasoning behind this change, as it felt like a core promise of the story. As for unresolved plot threads, these are some elements I’m particularly curious about: - Rami’s soul being (out of tune) as you said when facing the Realm Zipper. - Lier’s past. - The meaning of awakening Chakra and how it is achieved. - Whether there is a *Pen Narrator* from Pen’s personal library within Ruwen’s mind. (just a personal curiosity, not necessarily an unresolved thread). - An explanation of what (Io) did to Ruwen’s mind in the Spirit Realm, and Io’s exact role. - The return of the Spirit and, more importantly, securing Aeonrial’s universe to allow time for rebuilding—potentially setting up the next series. Of course, I trust that you have the best vision for concluding this arc, but I wanted to share the elements that stood out to me as a reader. Wishing you the best of luck with the next installment, and I look forward to seeing where the story goes. Thank you again for all your hard work!

Ruwen and Sift going back to the step competition and instead of throwing the fight winning it. Explain Aeonrials plan to remove the time baggage. I think this will involve his bridge and his bridge requires the fortunes key and all golems. Can be start of next ark Pens soul vault and why only one moon left. My theory being the moon is pens root chakra and rami hide out being the entrance of the soul vault Pen master and if his core was earth and if so what happened to the other 11 moons. Unless it's the sun and earth is a meridian. Ink Lord conclave and Ruwen forcing them to obey possibly fighting other gods. If the zealot survives the end of book 11 and who it actually was. My theory is its naktos and he used just spirit which is why he was so good at soul magic but had a shit spirit network. Earth Lir. Echo post book 11. Does Ruwen help make her an axiom? Her reaction to Ruwen shrinking mid fight in book 7. Why she didn't believe her dad when he said he killed Ruwen. Maybe she's her father's Ink Lord and they end up going together to the conclave. Ruwen becoming a full shadow step master. Seeing Io actual form. Does Sift learn a new method to become invisible? Now I do realize some of these maybe can be answered in later arks I just tried to name all the plot lines I felt were unfinished. I think you'll have your work cut out to cover them in 2 books but It can be done if you combine certain plot lines. Like Ash’s farm being a hot spot in which chakras are more easily Awakened you could then combine Ruwen meeting Ash reconnecting with his parents and more earth history.

However a true meeting would be good. 9 6 i think these are both connected. Rami’s layer is the door to pens soul vault and fractal is pens mind chakra not being fully Awakened but close. Graves last moon is pens Awakened root chakra.

If so, why?- sometime during all this, Ruwen should create at least one temple by himself. Inheriting them is good and all, but he's supposed to be a god in his own right, a firm decision regarding a divine realm - to have or not instead of nebulous "doesn't have yet," does ruwen become a bamboo viper founder so he could add to the steps he has developed? Does he become a shadow step grand Master? I'm sure I'll add more as they occur to me

Are we going to assign the rest of the black pyramid custodians? I think we need some more info on the dual class synergies from the ladies. Ruwen needs to meet the last member of his hand Chakras? I'm sad that we haven't got to clear any floors in blappy for so long. It might be cool if she and ash or pine worked together to make some special floors to "force" open the team's chakras.

Then you can prep for the next invasion by prepping all the needed characters either while the next invasion is happening or in another series like you might do with Ash.

Also how will Ash and Ruwen interact going forward considering Ash's timeline seems to be a Book or two behind Ruwen's. Do you want Ash to explain Chakra's to Ruwen or have Io do it? As for open questions that I have that might want to be answered in the future; Can Uru's channels now be healed so she and Miranda can also become Axioms? Can she come out of hiding (no longer need babysitting) and join the team to help fulfill Pen's wish? Is all the Black Pyramid dungeon/world storyline done? Do Tremine and Ky have anymore story significance? What are all of Pen's disciples up to especially Naktos? Has Ruwen learnt everything about the shadow steps that Ky was supposed to teach him after he passed the Master trials? (Its been a while since I read the books preceeding Book 11 and I can't remember where Ruwen is in his steps so this one might be answered) If all the meridian runes can be found on the early floors dungeons in the tower what the point of the other floors? Is Tarot and all of those Golems going to be Outverse stuff for later or will he start collecting more of them before leaving? This one might be my own ignorance or poor memory but what specifically are the paths to power that each realm uses because presumably there is an equal number in each realm and Aeonrial was trying to create a greater harmony by having Ruwen achieve mastery in all of them in a safe space as he is unable to do so himself in the outverse because he either lacks something or the rulers of the different realms would unite against him before he could achieve it and fight back against the void.

What about the birth of an Axiom caused the darkness to be triggered. Was it just Tarot messing with the Systems subroutines? It seems like fate and the system want to destroy the universe because of the lack of spirit but why were Tarot and fate enemies before that. How the return of spirit will effect the other planets we have seen in the universe.

I have grown so fond of all the characters i dont want any of them to die. Especially Ruwen, Sift, overlord, Ky, Blapy, Echo and maybe rami. Please dont kill anyone. Ok here are the things I would like to know before this arc ends. 1. Nactos prologue made me so curious what he knows about outerverse and how. Because pen seemed to only have very limited knowledge. 2. What happened when pen died. I mean Uru bargained and got a book vol 1 from naktos when ruwen was sent to spirit world and it was the log the temples received. What is in 2nd vol. 3. What did pen tell uru about the future stuff. Because uru realized a poem pen said when ruwen mentioned earth. 4. What did pen foresaw about ruwen and ash and the tragedy mentioned there. 5. What happened to Jegan and Una. Did they reunite. What happened to isaac, and other deities. What happened to the tree god. 4. What is sift's real name. Its been bugging me so much. Ruwen did so much to him but he doesnt even reveal his true name. 5. Who is Lir and how did he know Aeonrial. 6. How special is fractal? (Please dont kill fractal either) Does he have anything to do with pen? 7. What happens to the artefact hand valeora carved 8. Who is Findley really. Why is he acting or hiding his identity. 9. What happens to Rami's hideout or lair and what happens to the fern there 10. Does shelly and sift talk now after the tatoo? What happened to the prince person who does bar fight with ruwen 11. Does ruwen and ash meet and what happens in earth. 12. What happened to realm zipper. Did it destroy anything significant? 13. Does sift fight with champion in savage island and become champion of champions? 14. Why blapy has 3 forms and what is the secret with the 3 forms 15. Why isaac and uru are not on good terms 16. What happens to Lalquinrial's followers because their soul is maimed 17. What happens to Ruwen's mum and dad. After finding them he pretty much ignores them which seems so out of character for him. 18. Tree god and ruwen after fight scenes and bliz and ruwen stories. 19. Oh how come Rami didnt become axiom yet or did she became axiom. 20. What happened to arcanum and other alchemists. Did ruwen cause a big trouble teaching and leveling lot of alchemists 21. Why uru's divine realm is based on image like a place in earth. What is the significance of that place I might have more later on. Thank you.

What was Aeonrial trying to achieve with its creation? (If this is an outerverse secret then it can wait) What’s going on with all the other gods like Isaac and Naktos and stuff? Do they just not matter anymore? Miranda threatened all the gods at the dissolution of the pact… are any swearing fealty to Ruwen’s cause? Like the other gods were setup to be a whole thing… and I feel like they haven’t really mattered much. And finally, I’ll be very disappointed if Sift, The Soaring Sage, doesn’t get his first bakery up and running before Divine Apostasy ends! These are what I can think of off the top of my head. Will add more later if I think of any
