January 18, 2025 - Update

Hi!

I'm still slogging away on the revision. It will be a very long weekend. Thank you so much to everyone who left comments. I'll go through them all but can't respond until next week when I have more time.

I'm really looking forward to next week. I've been pushing myself hard the last month, and next week will be a guilt-free do-nothing week.

You'll hear more from me, probably on Monday if Travis starts the book.

Enjoy your weekend and try to stay warm if you're in this cold snap.

Thanks for all your support.

Take care,

AFK

Just finished reading this book and wow it was amazing. I powered through the entire book in 4 days! I always wait for you to finish the draft release as I love this story and the characters so much I hate waiting for the next chapter! Everything was perfect!

There are many scenes/carry aways, 1. Finding out the Outerverse has prophesies about him and they didn't even know 2. Finding out how dependent the future of not just Ruin's verse needs him but that of everything else 3. Lanquinriel's waking up from his delusion. 4. Ruwen/Ruin/???'s many bodies 5. Death admitting that Ruin only has an echo of death in him which would soon be gone. immortality seems to be coming for him as the ordinary doesn't seem able to kill him. 6. More implications of the story that I'm still looking forward to digesting. 7. Ruin's discovery of what I'm thinking of as his "Infinity core" which makes the 4th secret closer to trivial than it was the last book. 8. That's just off the top of my head. There's still a lot to digest from this latest book. A few more . . . 9. What does it mean that the verses are reflections of the grand outerverse overall and the spiritual networks of all beings of power within them are a reflection of the verses? What implications does that have if the grand outerverse structure is changed? 10. Why does it seem like a process was put in place eons ago to affect that structure? Why does the structure need to be affected? Who initiated the change and why? Just so many questions.

Excellent work! You may have one hour of freedom in the garden before you return to your cage.

Anyone have a "memorable scene" that blew them away from this book? For me, I have two: * Right at the start, when we visit the desolated battlefield and find out Ruin isn't dead. * The 1000 levels in the towers.
