Ch 62 Death remarks that it wasn't until yesterday that they met but it's been at least a week since ruin first enterd the Dark tower. Ch 61 How did Ruin leave the void? Did Rami show him how off screen? As one of Ruins concerns was not knowing how to leave the void if he closed the breach but then he just telaports out.

2025-01-17 01:41:18 +0000 UTCI think there's an issue with the timeline described in chapter 66 when Ruin is explaining his dilemma about whether to have his friends continue refining or fortify. He says: "That’s twenty days, and the Ink Lord Conclave starts in eighteen days" At the end of book 10 the conclave was 30 days away. I think it's less than a day from then until Ruin wakes up and Rami comes back, but then Rami goes away for seven days while Ruin grinds and causes trouble with the towers. Then Ruin and company use the refinement cocoons which is another ten days, for a total of 17 days, so the conclave should only be 13 days away at this point, not 18. Also, maybe this is intentional but Ruin told Rami in Chapter 7 that he would be bringing Xavier, even getting four void protection items from Varthon, but then Xavier is not included in this scene. I don't dislike it because this is a very sweet intimate moment between Ruin, Hamma, Sift and Lylan that Xavier would feel like a very awkward 5th wheel without Rami there...

Ch 62 - “Ruin through caution aside” —> “threw” Ch 65 - “So its not the most efficient way was getting rid of the time dilation is incredibly expensive.” …Maybe “was” —> “as”? Small nitpick - a detailed description of the spiritual network graphical display of the system interface is repeated with nearly the same wording two or three times in just a few chapters. It feels a little too repetitive, for me at least, it should be sufficient to just convey the new changes or the new focus Ruin has rather than describing the whole thing yet again. The full display doesn’t seem all that inecessary to convey the changes either. For example most of the second paragraph in ch 67 seems unnecessary. I love what is depicted though, it feels really intuitive, and that is the hallmark of a great interface - great job there!

2025-01-15 04:22:03 +0000 UTCChapter 62, conversation with death needs to be more clear as to who is speaking. Got a little confused as to who was talking. On to chapter 63....to be cont. Ok chapter 63,64,65,66 and 67 are all good. There was a few moments I wanted to say but after reading all of them my comments are of no consequence. Yet, chapter 66, the quote "The Witch has a Whip" is my favorite line!!!!! Fast progress and a lot of info to think on.
