July 13, 2024 - Update

Hi!

I don’t have a buffer of chapters yet for the Ash story, so this first week or two will be a bit erratic. I’ll release one chapter tonight and then one tomorrow that I just got back from the editor. I’ll try and get a third out this weekend as well.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the search for an appropriate series name for the Ash story. I spent another few hours on in today with BRB and FCAFK and had a breakthrough. I pulled back and thought of the bigger picture and how Ash fit into that. The resulting series name reflects many layers and I hope you like it. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

So, the Ash story will be called: Divine Awakening

Have a great weekend and thank you so much for supporting these stories. I’m so deeply grateful that you are here.

Take care,

AFK

Ruwen/Ruin will continue on with no change. I am hopeful to have a chapter this week but for sure will for next week. Ash is a separate story that will overlap periodically. I wanted to tell the Ash story because it focuses on Chakras.

So if the series is transitioning from Ruwen/Ruin to Ash, will we ever get Ruwen/Ruin chapters again?

Douglas Davis

So far he is an interesting and fun character to read and the tie-in to our earth is fun. not sure how the chakra system will develop, but its nice to see a different power system evolving also.

That is a great question. Some of it depends on how much interest there is on Royal Road. My plan is to release them onto Amazon eventually so I would say three at the minimum. The max is unknown. I know Ash's story, but I don't know how much of it we will get to see from his vantage point. There will be more overlap between the series in the future.

Haha...great title!

I was wondering if I missed somewhere what the projected length of Divine Awakening would be? Is it going to be a full book like the divine apostasy series- aka ~70-90 chapters?

Perfect

Lena M. Lucente

Great title no misconceptions about it

Samuel Strode

I was rooting for “Guacamole Rising”. Origin story of a young avocado farmer finding his ultimate form of expression.

Wow! That’s all I can say. I like it a lot. It holds a lot of promise without any terrible spoilers.
