I love that Ruwens impact on Earth and Ash is a long term continuous thing. I’ll always greatly enjoy seeing direct interaction because of the interesting chapters it makes, but this indirect meddling is nice too. Gives a real God vibe to Ruwen, making decisions that will have long term large scale impacts on humanity but for him it’s just another Tuesday.

So if Lir is going to Earth and wants the minion body to protect him, is there anyway that his Terium body could just be harvested away? Then he's just a cloud(might be the wrong term)?

2024-04-17 15:36:00 +0000 UTCFemites are everywhere, but without spirit or some other type of energy, maybe soul or Aura, to power them they stay inactive. They can't interact with the surroundings to give the interface. The people on Grave were given some type of modification to access an interface, but it is also said that some of the stronger Cultivators were able to get their own interface after a time. I haven't jumped into much of the Ash Chapters yet but what I would assume is that Ash with his Aura being as strong as it is, the spirit entering Earth, and that he's had contact with others like Ruwen, Blapy and Echo he could get another type of modified interface or from the new Tattoo Blapy gave him.

2024-04-17 15:08:40 +0000 UTCThe mention of Persephone's team didn't trigger the questions I thought it would. Lir didn't explain how a newly born AI could contact and order around a team of humans, and it's fine that it's a mystery, but I expected Ruwen to be surprised and curious about it.

2024-04-14 07:19:09 +0000 UTCI believe the actual problem with others not having interfaces had more to do with the lack of Fermites in the wider universe. Spirit left and it affected the availibility of Fermites. They still exist on Grave and can be spread to where there is spirit. If there are Fermites, then the templates to the Fermites just need to be activated for people to have access to their limited interfaces. Everyone can do it so long as there are Fermites, spirit, and a way to activate the template. At least that's how I understand it. So, yeah. I believe you answered your own question. Lol.

2024-04-13 12:57:54 +0000 UTCDo correct me if I'm wrong here but as far as I remember what an interface really is and its interaction eith the Femites was first talked about in Book 8, right? There I believe it was said that the Gods at the time genetically modified their followers so that they could interact with the Femits and get interface so that they could then do this whole Acendancy thing. This genetic modfication is also why unascendet people have an interface, like Sift who is a descendant of someone got it. This also the reason why people on other planets like Nymphus don't have even a basic interface since they never received this modification. From this would follow that people on earth shouldn't be able have an interface like what Lir wants to do. This would also mean Blaby shouldn't have been able to give Ash his interface. However, what we learned in Book 9 is that there is also I believe it was the default interface whis is disabled for everyone. Does that then mean everyone has the capability to get an interface since they technically already have one and what the gods did was mearly install the basic interface and what Lir wants to do is basically the same? So in the end I just answered my own question while writing it, dindn't I?
