This week started off great. I dictated three chapters for book 10 and was really excited about the fourth. I fleshed out some character motivations and descriptions for Ash’s story and planned to get some of those chapters dictated. Then over a foot of snow arrived and threw the household into chaos for two days.
In the end, I only got two chapters of book 10 edited and none of the Ash chapters. I will try and make progress on those other chapters this weekend and will release them if I do.
The two chapters I did get edited are significant. The first is a massive revelation accompanied by a terrible realization. The other is an alternate prologue that I might use instead. It is still rough but offers some very interesting insight that I know many of you will enjoy.
I opened up System of Ash chapter 13 for Root.
I opened up Book 10 chapters 1 and 2 for Root.
I opened up System of Ash chapter 14 for Harvester.
I opened up Book 10 chapters 3 and 4 for Harvester.
I added Book 10 chapters 5 and 5.5 (alternate prologue) for Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, Divine, and Axiom.
