The chapters this week finally address an issue that has hung around since book 4 (a hint since I’m not a total jerk…town building). I think I might be as relieved as Ruwen to have that addressed. Couple this with the previous chapters relating to the Black Pyramid Quartermaster (items which stem from book 1!!!!!) and Ruwen has finally checked some stuff off his list.
What is astonishing is that this is probably the first time in the two-ish years since Ruwen’s Ascendancy that he had the time to accomplish these tasks. That timeframe is both shocking in how long it took to get back to these items, while at the same time shocking at how much has happened to him in those two years.
Poor guy. It really seems like the Universe has it out for him sometimes.
Once again I’m planning on giving dictation a try. A combination of wrist pain and a desire to become more productive has pushed me in this direction. I hope for all our sakes I can make it work. There are other stories inside this universe I want to tell but can’t because of my slow writing pace.
I opened up chapters 55 and 56 to Root.
I opened up chapters 57 and 58 to Harvester.
I added chapters 59, 60, and 61 to Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, Divine, and Axiom.

Hey Leif! Thank you so much for the suggestion. Tonight's update will have more details but I am looking to streamline my dictation. Do you have any favorite apps you use to actual do the speech to text before having OpenAI transcribe it for you? Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

2023-12-16 02:30:50 +0000 UTCHey, so I'm dyslexic, but I write quite a lot, as I'm currently taking my master's degree. I kind of have to, but I can hardly write my name without spelling mistakes. As such, I've used dictation or speech to text quite a lot, and I will say most of them sucks and requires a lot of editing in order to get any reasonable results. However, I have found that OpenAIs is actually really good. I think you should give it a try. https://platform.openai.com/playground?mode=complete
