Hi!

I had a great week of writing which is nice for a change. The other big thing that happened this week was the cover, which I posted to Patrons yesterday. I appreciate all the feedback and asked for a few tweaks from the cover designer.

I’ve been lucky that I haven’t had to travel much this year, but we did today, and I remember how much I hate airports and travel in general. I honestly think I would never leave my house if given the chance, although I will admit DragonCon looked like a lot of fun from the posts.

Because I misnumbered my chapters and only discovered that today, it turns out a chapter will get released tonight that overlaps another story I plan on telling. I am very interested in how you feel about the location our group of friends arrives at. The main story doesn’t spend much time here, but it is a significant revelation (although the real bombs don’t drop until next week’s chapters). Please let me know how you feel about it.

Everyone (except my friends in the UK and Australia) should get their books by this time next week. Sorry about the delay.

Even though I have the cover for book 9, I’ve only written about 1/3 of the story for this book. For once I was organized and had the cover much earlier than I normally do.

I opened up chapters 16, 17, and 18 for Root.

I opened up chapters 19, 20, and 21 for Harvester.

I added chapters 22, 23, and 24 for Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, Divine, and Axiom.
