The Luminara and Radiants are common, and Harmonics are rare." ____________________ It's hard to judge this since I've read the old version, but I think a new reader would want an earlier explanation for how Rami and Lir know some of the things explained in the above quotes. A new reader wouldn't know about the quests and might get stuck wondering how a few log entries (or whatever they imagine is in the hidden displays) would give so much information. I think just having Ruwen wonder the same thing might prevent that moment of the reader stopping in confusion. It's not a huge deal since you explain it later in the chapter, though.
