Divine Apostasy Book 8 - Chapter 64

This book is now published on KU. KU has rules requiring no more than 10% of a book be available by other means. Due to this restriction, I have removed this chapter.

If you wish to continue reading, please email me and I will send you the *.epub file for you to add to your Amazon device.

I'm sorry if this inconveniences you in any way. I am only doing this so I can remain in the KU program.

Thanks for your understanding.

Ahh 7 makes sense as I do recall them both being on the weaker side of gods (lilqurial and nikto it was part of why the became friends I think?)

I can see the second option as being a very likely outcome--one that is the most problematic for Ruwen since it would likely assure that the Lalquinrial/Nameless amalgam retained most knowledge and capabilities. I'm unsure of the mechanics of using spirit (is the core tied to the body or to the soul, for instance), so I'm unsure what spirit capabilities Nameless would retain if Lalquinrial was fully destroyed. It seems that, if some essence of Lalquinrial remained, you'd end up with a more capable antagonist. There were hints in earlier books that Echo had a bigger role to play, but I can't infer what that means for the current circumstance. I'm looking forward to Book 9 though.

This also kind of leads into my tin foil hat idea of blapy and uru(using ururyal) become second level gods as well.

Nick Pincus

As I see it there are 3 possible and I'm not really sure which is more correct. First is lalquinrial is dead and nameless controls lalquinrial body (I think this is least likely). Second lalquinrial and nameless one sudo entity (this one I'm most inclined to). Third lalquinrial is dieing and so it nameless but they are going to go out with a bang (not as fun but I think more likely then nameless winning a battle of wills). I think it's also a bit of the last 2 where they are seeking to be the second but currently in the third and planing on using the self actualization method ruewn came up with to get there and in the process becoming a second level god.

Nick, I read the following line from the epilogue as indicating Lalquinrial's death, and I'm curious if you read it differently: "Tarot left as the mental construct entered Lalquinrial’s mind, unable to watch the final stretch of his Eighth Harbinger’s journey to destruction." Rereading it, I think you could argue that death isn't imminent but that absorbing Nameless basically served as the starting point of the "final stretch" or last phase of Lalquinrial's destruction. Thoughts? My initial speculation was that, if anything remained, it was mostly Nameless's consciousness in Lalquinrial's body, which could have interesting effects on Echo's story arc as well.

If I recall correctly, Naktos was also 7. He supplemented by pattern recognition.

Well after reading ahead I now know ash is taking a different route to power right now. Very interesting. Oh and also lalquinrial is still alive

Nick Pincus

Fucking Isaac 10 -> 9 meridians he was the second most powerful god and now he is not likely even third. Ruewn at 12, maranda at 11, Issac at 9, Wenquian at less then 10, Naktos was stated in book 2 but I can't recall think it's 8 or 9 but leaning to 8, Lalquinrial at 7 if they still live ( not seen the body yet), uru after ruewn's gift is at 7?. Also I guess there is ash at 12 but I think they are not even harvesting yet so that's a thread.
