I had the best week of writing since BAFK2 arrived, and it makes me hopeful that I’ve regained my stride. Almost just as important, I made massive breakthroughs regarding critical world building necessary for the other project I wish to start.
I haven’t talked about this other project publicly, but since I consider you all family, I’ll reveal it to you now.
I plan to, in the near future, start a new series on Royal Road. Patrons will of course get it early.
This story takes place in the Divine Apostasy universe. Who knows, you might even recognize some of the characters involved. Certainly, fans of the main series will recognize the subtle and heavy-handed foreshadowing that already exists in the current books.
The complexity of the main series is already overwhelming, and I plan on amping that up by creating this other story that runs parallel to the main series. Seeds planted in book four will finally sprout. Hopefully my schedule will allow me to start writing on it in the next couple of months.
Andrea started narrating Hamma’s Last Prayer this week and that is going fantastic. It should be on audible in the near future.
I opened up chapters 25 and 26 for Root.
I opened up chapters 27, 28, 29, and 30 for Harvester.
I added chapters 31, 32, and 33 to Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, Divine, and Axiom.

That is a really good question. I feel like there is still a lot of story to tell. Especially with some of the revelations that will be coming in the next few weeks.

You already put out quality content at a fast pace while maintaining another full time job, plus all the changes having young children brings to the home. I don't know how you do it! I hope the extra writing works as more of a creative break for you and doesn't become a source of burnout with the added deadlines. More world building will definitely be a treat for us
