Sift seems to be close to inventing the bedfordshire clanger! If only he had contrasted sweet with savoury instead of sour... Gunder seems to be talking about cymatics, which has popped up in a few fantasies recently (Cosmere books being the example that immediately pops to mind). Typos: "how could I not, with this knowledge, not..." the first not seems superfluous "And you think those patters are what do that" patterns is missing the "n"
