Melody is such an interesting and poignant character. Both her and her sister the Augur's backstory must be awful for them to both be mentally broken like that, although how much of that is caused by being in contact with deity is unknown. But it is interesting that the Augur appears to actually know things, while unable to do anything... and Melody does not know anything but has rather significant power. As for Carnwedian (great name!)... isn't Scarlett pretty well exhausted by her fight with the Cabal archwizard and then stomping Skye's party? Or is this the effect of the no longer 3rd rate mana veins? And does Scarlett have to give up Nol'viz now? I hope not!

2025-12-27 05:18:34 +0000 UTCFeel like she could discuss her theft to Raimond and the other woman, especially with it being hardly the worst or most important event she and ittar folk have been involved with, explain that it was for rosa and the blaze situation. I bet they would rather be relieved to hear it was 'just' the baroness and they can stop looking over their shoulders. After that revelation they can move on to having countess/melody meet with her sister, with the added bonus of checking in on augur and fate situation, maybe some 'god' ittar info. Maybe explain the fate thing and the gods maybe having more freedom too to get in their good graces.
