June 11, 2022 - Update

The highlight of this week was probably deciding on a release date, which is July 15th. It got pushed back due to some delays with editing and a vacation around the fourth. There is a slight possibility that it will release sooner, but the stars would need to align.
The other thing I did was push the epilogue of book six into the prologue of book seven. That meant I had to write a new epilogue for book six this week. The good news is that means book seven has already been started.
I hope to finally finish the third revision this weekend and send it off to the editors and proofers. Then I’ll start fleshing out the ideas that are slated for book seven. I already know the themes/events for book 8 and 9 as well. So we are good on content for a while.
I opened up chapters 92, 93, and 94 for Root.
I opened up chapters 95, 96, and 97 for Harvester.
I added chapters 98, 99, 100 for Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, and Divine.

I’m sure the clan consider letting him off with a punishment other than death if he honestly explained that he was in a fight with the Demon God and that using the Shadow Step was the only way to counter the god’s attempt to destroy his fire meridian with a Shattered Step
