He had wondered how the shield had stopped even his gravity waves. It made much more sense that it hadn’t stopped them, but shuffled the damage to another time. —— Not a big deal, but this seems imprecise to me, and Ruwen tends to be precise. The barrier does stop *some* things from going through it, like Ruwen’s body and the steam he created. I can’t remember if the fireballs he shot off bounced around or disappeared through the barrier, but now I’m curious.
