Hi!

Two major things happened this week. First, I received the cover I’d commissioned for The Sixth Rune. The good news is they gave me what I asked for. The bad news is, I’m not sure how much I love it.

I put up a Patreon poll and I greatly appreciate everyone’s feedback. I’m wondering if I picked the wrong scene to represent the book, and I’m not thrilled that the rendition doesn’t match those characters as much as I’d like. I’ve asked for a few changes and I’m still deciding what to do. Regardless, I will keep you all updated.

The second item is the book’s schedule. I’d promised the amazing Travis Baldree that I’d have the book to him in March. Worried about my current progress and factoring in a new job that starts in February, I mapped out exactly, chapter by chapter, what I wanted to write for book six.

It was FIFTY chapters! And knowing me, it would probably end up closer to sixty.

This is an entire book by itself.

The problem…I’m already past forty chapters in book six.

If you remember early on, I had already moved a major piece of the story into book seven. Now I’m moving even more. Book seven is already almost full.

Of course, and this will shock you, this change worried me. In the end, I have to trust my instincts. I think it is fine. I know you will tell me if I’m wrong. Even with the push of some story lines into book seven, I’m afraid I might not release The Sixth Rune until April.

I’ve opened chapters 37, 38, 39 and 40 to Harvester.

I’ve added chapters 41, 42, 43, and 44 to Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, and Divine.
