Happy New Year!
I feel like I’m still processing 2020, and here we are at the beginning of 2022. I hope 2021 wasn’t a disaster for you like it was for so many, and if it was, I wish a landslide of good luck for you in 2022.
I traveled again this week as we returned from seeing family for Christmas. It put a dent in my productivity. I’m thankful we didn’t have any canceled flights this time and that BAFK was very good through it all.
The travel, coupled with the changes in the story, made it difficult to get words down this week. Thankfully, I managed a little, and released two chapters today. Not sure if they will survive the next draft in their current state. I’ll need some time and distance from them to see if I managed the transition okay.
This is the time of year for reflection and goal setting. I’m the worst at setting goals, even though I know they would make me happier. I do know I’ll release at least book six and seven next year, and if I can somehow figure out my productivity issues, maybe even a book eight. Fingers crossed.
I opened up chapters 26, 27, 28, and 29 to Root.
I opened up chapters 30, 31, and 32 to Harvester.
I added chapters 33 and 34 to Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, and Divine.
