Hello!

A lot happened this week, unfortunately most of it didn’t involve finished chapters. BAFK went in for his vaccinations this week and the flu one made him sick. The poor guy has been suffering the last couple days. Hopefully, we are through the worst of it. Ironically, he has not been sick a single time in his whole life, but the flu shot ended that streak. +10 to Immunity, I guess.

Two other items took up a very significant portion of my writing time this week.

First, world building. I never fully fleshed out the Creator Role but I needed it this week. And holy cow did that turn into a massive amount of work. I’m still not 100% happy with it, but it is good enough so I can move forward.

The second thing was something I’ve already discussed a little on the Discord server. There had been a discussion about Rami, and it made me think about what I had intended for book six. And I realized what I had planned was a HUGE mistake.

I’ll avoid spoilers, but the issues centered on how much time we spent with the other characters we love. My original plans had Ruwen mostly alone for large sections of the book. I can’t believe I didn’t notice that before. Now, I’ve reorganized, and the majority of the book will include all your favorites.

In fact, so much rearranging happened I’ve already mapped out parts of book seven.

So, once again, you have demonstrated how valuable you are to the series. Without you here, I would be writing into the void, and not considering the impact of my plans so carefully.

I opened up chapters 14, 15, and 16 to Root.

I opened up chapters 17, 18, 19, and 20 to Harvester.

I added chapters 21 and 22 to Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, and Divine.
